Introducing the E-Leaf OffRoad: LiV’s First 100% Electric, Go-Anywhere Trailer
Every so often a build comes along that changes what ‘off-grid’ even means. Meet the E-Leaf OffRoad — the first 100% electric trailer in the LiV family, and the most ambitious thing we have ever rolled out the factory door. This is your first look.
No propane. No gas. No hunting for hookups. The sun fills the battery, the battery runs the trailer, and when the sky stays gray for days, a built-in inverter generator quietly picks up the slack. Park it at the end of a forest road and it simply keeps working — lights, climate, kitchen, and all.
100% electric. Gas-free. Off-grid on your terms.
The heart of the E-Leaf OffRoad is a power system built to run completely independent of the grid. On the roof, two 200-watt solar panels — 400 watts in total — feed a 60-amp MPPT charge controller you can monitor right from your phone over Bluetooth. That energy lands in a 300Ah lithium battery bank, and a 3,000-watt inverter with an automatic transfer switch turns it into clean household power for everything inside.
Driving to the trailhead? A 20-amp DC-to-DC charger tops off the battery from your tow vehicle as you roll, so you often arrive with a full bank. And for those rare stretches when the clouds settle in, a built-in 2,550-watt inverter generator keeps the lithium topped up — no scrambling, no compromise. The result is simple: the solar system powers everything in the unit, and you decide how far off the map you want to be.
Built to vanish down the trail.
All that power means nothing if the trailer cannot get there. The E-Leaf OffRoad rides on our signature Lightning Green chassis — tuned for total off-grid performance. Underneath, protective diamond-plate shrugs off rocks and trail debris, while off-road wheels and a full-size spare keep you moving over terrain that stops ordinary trailers cold. The Starlights off-road graphics package finishes the look, because a rig this capable should look the part.
Curious how a LiV shell is welded into one continuous, seamless piece with no seams to leak and no wood to rot? See how a LiV is built.
Room to actually live.
Inside, the E-Leaf OffRoad lives far bigger than its footprint. A Murphy full-size bed folds away to open the floor by day, a gaucho adds a second sleeping spot and a place to lounge, and bench-and-barstool seating gives everyone somewhere to land. A 32-inch TV turns a rainy afternoon into movie night.
The kitchen is all-electric, like the rest of the trailer: an electric single-burner cooktop, a standard microwave, and an 8-gallon electric water heater for hot showers in the dry bathroom. Climate stays handled in every season by an under-bunk air conditioner and heat pump. Out back, a rear storage door swallows the gear, and stair and porch lights make late arrivals easy.

Under $25,000 — and this is just the first look.
The most surprising spec might be the price. The E-Leaf OffRoad is slated to come in under $25,000 — a fully electric, solar-powered, off-road-ready trailer for the price of a well-optioned daily driver.
This is an early sneak peek, so final equipment and details can still shift as we lock in production. If a gas-free, go-anywhere LiV is the trailer you have been waiting for, tell us you want in and we will make sure you are among the first to know when the E-Leaf OffRoad is ready to order.
