LIV RV Introduces Advanced Sealing & Gasket System for Superior Protection

We’re rolling out a significant upgrade to the sealing and gasket system across the LIV lineup — a bonded, compression-based approach that targets the points most likely to fail on a traditional RV, with premium materials and installation techniques that exceed industry-standard practices.

What the system protects

The upgrade concentrates on the places leaks actually start: roof penetrations (vents and A/C units), wiring and plumbing entry points, and exterior compartments. Instead of relying on static, surface-applied caulk that ages and breaks down, we use bonded compression sealing across every critical junction.

Two materials doing most of the work

• 3M 4410+W Extreme Sealing Tape — an industry-leading roof tape that creates a permanent, waterproof, airtight bond resistant to UV, heat, and aging.
• Titan EPDM Medium-Density Sponge Rubber Gasket — advanced compression tape for windows and doors that absorbs flex, vibration, and temperature change without opening gaps over time.

Together they form a fully bonded weather barrier across every seam and junction. These materials are already in service across our build and the system is performing without failure.

The new sealing system carries a 36-month warranty on its components, layered on top of our existing Lifetime No Wood Rot Warranty and 100% composite construction. We believe it’s the most comprehensive sealing protection in the industry.
