How to Winterize your LIV Camper

When the season turns and you’re putting your LIV away for the winter, a proper winterization protects your plumbing, your water heater, and the long-term integrity of the trailer. We put together a full walkthrough video covering the process step by step.

What the walkthrough covers

  • Draining the fresh, gray, and black tanks.
  • Bypassing the water heater so antifreeze doesn’t end up where it shouldn’t.
  • Running RV antifreeze through every line and fixture.
  • Protecting external connections and storage compartments.
  • How long the process really takes (less than you’d think).

Why it matters

Composite construction handles cold better than wood-framed builds, but the plumbing inside any trailer is still vulnerable to freeze damage if it isn’t prepared correctly. A 30-minute winterization in the fall saves you from a cracked line and a spring full of repairs.

The full video lives on our YouTube channel. If you have questions after watching, your nearest LIV dealer can walk through the process with you or perform the winterization on-site.
